WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU IN RETURN:-
To confirm your reservation on the enclosed booking form (with which a non-refundable deposit of £ 10.00 per player is requested - we regret that your day cannot be confirmed by us until this deposit has been received). Full payment of the balance would be appreciated on your day unless you have agreed prior arrangements with us to pay on invoice. The deposit will be refunded only if your day is cancelled by the Club in case of bad weather or Course closure and we are unable to offer you an alternative day.
Not later than three days prior to your day, to confirm your numbers for golf and catering (we can accommodate non-golfers at additional charge).
Your Members to have a Club or Society handicap.
Your Members to have a good knowledge of acceptable Golf Etiquette and to respect the Club’s Dress Rules both on and off the Course.
Your members to park their vehicles in the Visitor’s Car Park which is covered by CCTV and is to be found on the left of the entrance road to the club.
OTHER NOTES:-
The charge per person covers golf, standard catering, personal liability insurance for the day, VAT and gratuities. A reduction will be made for Ashford manor Members playing in Golf Society days.
Final details of your day will normally be confirmed by the Club three weeks beforehand. Unless specifically authorised by writing by the Club, play will be 2 or 3 balls. Acceptable forms of play are Individual or Team Stableford or medal, Foursomes and Greensomes. Texas Scrambles and Four-balls (with the exception of Greensomes) are not permitted. Tee reservations normally commence at 8.45am and 1.45pm. The preparation of a Starting Sheet will be very helpful.
Although every reasonable precaution is taken through security facilities, the Club can accept no responsibility or liability for loss of, or damage to, any visitor’s property, including valuables and vehicles and their contents anywhere on the premises. Visitors are therefore advised not to leave valuables such as cash, cheque books, credit cards or wristwatches in the Locker Rooms.
All players are covered, through the Club’s arrangements, by public liability insurance for the day in case of such an event as damage caused by a flying golf ball. However, in order for the insurance to be valid, a ball which is struck to a place outside the perimeter of the Course must be reported, on completion of the round, to a member of the Club’s Staff. Where a player carries his own liability insurance, this will take precedence over the Club’s insurance in case of a claim.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU TO ASHFORD MANOR
