Applications are by one of the following methods.

1) Introduction by Ashford Manor Members (proposer and seconder)

2) In certain cases we may be able to offer temporary 3-month membership to help you familiarise yourself with the Club and get to know other members.

We also offer a fast track system for membership to single figure golfers.

General Information
There are currently vacancies in all playing categories, including a limited number for 7-Day Membership.  When 7-Day membership is fully subscribed, ordinarily new members (with the exception of Juniors - aged 7 to 17 on 1st March) are offered, initially, 5-Day or 5-Day plus (if space is available) Membership of the Club.

All potential Members must have an official (CONGU) Handicap. This can be gained at another Club or, in the case of applicants who are proposed and seconded by Ashford Manor Members, by playing three cards at Ashford Manor prior to Membership Interview. Candidates who are Members of other Clubs must supply proof of Handicap (i.e. Playing Record or Handicap certificate) together with a written reference from an Official of that club.

All candidates must, prior to their interview for Membership, play one round of Golf with a Member of the Committee or a Past Captain of the Club who will then confirm whether or not the applicant's golfing ability and etiquette are suitable for the application to be considered.
